COMPLETE Taobao Haul

I had an exam this morning so i look like poop! so don't mind my hello kitty face. >.<

well, here's the taobao haul i said i'd write, the prices i didn't estimate final cost by shipping, i just did it as overal cost to dollar. So i calculated the total cost in RMB then divided it by the total cost in CAD and went from there.

i forgot to take a picture of me without the belt but it was unflattering and shapeless. the belt was a random one i bought from either HK or china. i was thinking of either giving the dress to my mom or saving it for when i'm pregnant in five years since it was SO SHAPELESS. Anyhoo, a couple of loose threads here and there but no big deal. A cute dress for summer.

I already showed you this one but bear with me. This is a floral chiffon dress with a frontal zipper. the dress even has two pockets in the front. I love this dress but i have an issue with the knot at the back was tied weird and when you look at the dress from the front it's a bit poofed on the side. sorry i don't have a better picture. Still, me likey.

The shirt is a see-through blue mandarin collared shirt. there's a longer piece of fabric in the sleeve that can button half way up the sleeve to make it a 3/4 sleeve shirt. The arms are a bit tight and i don't think it was really worth $19 so marks deducted.

These are a great pair of black shorts made from a nice heavy material. There's black chiffon draped in the front to make it look kind of like a skirt. i guess you could call it a skort. The zippered pockets are for decoration, they're not actually pockets and the shorts zipper at the side. Quality's great so perfect points!

To pull the outfit together i got a pair of off-white wedges with chains. I don't know why but when i received them there were stupid dots on the front. It's hard to get my feet in and it's a bit tight around the ankles once it's zipped up. my toes are non existent but i think if i got a 36 they wouldn't fit. Points off for that but regardless, the shoes are adorable and i don't regret buying them.

This next skirt is one of my favourites out of the whole haul. It's an asymmetrical galaxy skirt which is just love love. the edges of the skirt are frayed, like they're not hemmed so there's a ton of loose threads which is why i deducted .2 of a point but i guess that's what makes it loose and flowy. I can't wait for summer to start so i could wear it.

This next dress is a bit short and being a pear makes it even shorter. I think the top is too low and my bra frequently peeks out but it was pretty good considering it was only $11 Canadian including shipping. It's kind of a classy clubbing dress? haha. The skirt part's nice and soft but the sleeves are a little..uglyish. i'll have to wear tights underneath.

Last but not least, my absolute favourite item was this blazer. its made of a heavy kind of jersey knit material and the quality's really great for $16 dollars. I've wanted a blazer for a while and have one i bought from zara for $90 that i've only worn twice but i already see myself wearing this one a lot more since it's more suited for casual wear. LOVE IT!!

Lululemon Legendary Duffel Review

I don't have a picture of my old turquoise lululemon bag (should've taken one for memories Y__Y) but the zipper was breaking at the seams. My mom went to the the store to ask if we could get the zipper repaired because i loved the bag and they don't make it anymore. They couldn't repair it so they offered us a full exchange. I got exchanged it for the legendary duffel valued at $148. Pretty sweet deal. I went on the site and the colour's called bold blossoms embossed dune haha long name but here's the review!

Firstly i'll talk about the outside compartments. One side has 3 separate pockets that can tighten with elastic pull claps thingies. The centre pocket has a separate mini pocket for your phone. 

On the other side, there's a large zippered pocket labelled sweaty wet unmentionables. As the name states, I'm planning to put my sweaty clothes in there right after a workout. It's great because it's material is like a ventilated mesh. Also on the same side here's two side zippers to put your yoga mat.

 

I occasionally do yoga at home with my mom's mat but i don't own one myself. i don't think the zippers are wide enough to fit a yoga mat o_o i'm sure they tested it out before they made the bag and i haven't tried it out myself but my arm's thinner than a mat and i just don't see how a full sized one could fit.

A little detail i like to note is the strap holder, it like how it's a little snap button rather than the traditional velcro straps. Anyhoo, both sides have an open pocket to put like your water bottle or whatever. On one side, there's a zipper that goes all the way around to put your shoes. The material goes all the way into your bag so your shoes and guaranteed to fit.

As you can see as i stated the pocket goes right into the bag, pretty innovated imo. On the inside pockets, one side has 3 mesh material that's elasticized for deodorant, chocolate and whatnot.

 On the opposite side there's another elasticized pockets labelled tunes and another zippered pocket labeled for keys and inside it came with another bag. In other lululemon bags this was used as a shoe bag but since there's already a pocket for shoes, i'm thinking of using it for my shower flipflops.

Overall, i'm really happy with my bag and love it more than my old bag. I think lululemon's service is great allowing me to do a FULL EXCHANGE! Anyways, hope you found my review useful.

taobao haul dress #1

i ordered 10 items from taobao that arrived this week! i'm busy with exams but here's a review of one of the dresses that i'll be wearing on sunday! more to come when i get around to taking pictures~!

This was $46 RMB (approx. $8CAD) but after shipping etc, it only came up to $14 CAD! 

It looks exactly from the stock photo but the knot at the back was tied differently making look a bit poofy fron the front (can't see it in the pic) but otherwise,
